The bloodworms (BW) should be taken out of the freezer, thawed and fed. You should discard of any unused portion and not store in the refrig. I would continue to treat as you are and not try to do anything different at this time. Your fish seems to be perking up, so let's see what happens. Barb

Don't worry, I understand why you thought to thaw them out and maybe they would keep. It seems logical but as the others have mentioned you can't really even keep them a few hours after. I break (or cut if you are careful) a chunk to use then put the rest right back in the freezer to stay frozen. BTW, try not to touch them too much and wash your hands well after using them just because you don't want to touch your food surfaces or mouth with hands that have some remaining bloodworm juice. It is a good sign that she is eating still. You can make a paragraph by pressing the "Enter" key and it will make the spaces for you and you can keep typing. Just to clarify: You are using the M 1 & 2 right now, right? And waiting a little bit as Barb mentioned since she is perking up. For interest's sake, can you tell us what Jungle med you have there? Barb, Ash, Michele, others: Should she buy the Prazi-Pro? Would Rid-Ich be a better substitute (if needed later that is)? t

She does look a bit better *crossing fingers and toes*. It is a bit of a judgement call to know if you should let her see her tankmates more. It could help but it also might be stressful. What do you bettasperts think? I also worry about cross-contamination if the tanks are very close at all . . . we don't want any water droplets flying around between the tanks right now. t

Shouldn't be a problem with the extra dose of QC... just stop after your last dose. As Dr. Barb suggested... the clamping fins could be more related to the septicemia than velvet which isn't apparent. Personally, I would resist the temptation of moving them closer together. It's hard not to do... but we often inflect our own personalities into our fish. Bettas are not schooling fish and don't find security around other fish. I think it would be best to keep any possible stresses for Jasmine down to nil while she's recovering. I agree with what T suggested. As well, viewing her neighbour may have caused her stress and opened her up to infection setting in. Some bettas can handle this, while others cannot. Chloe may have been accustomed to her neighbour, but Jasmine possibly not so much... And T brought up another good point about cross-contamination. Michele
