Hey Kaysea, I'm glad to hear she's still with us. To summarize what has been recommended... When was her last 100% waterchange (Sunday)? She's in about 2 gallons of water, correct? If so, you could still do a partial w/c (25%) just prior to your next dose of meds. Do 2x Maracyn 2 and 1.5x plain Maracyn and the normal 1/2 dose of Quick Cure. We can re-evaluate where we go with the QC on day 6, ok? It's good that she's still interested in food... given her state... that's a real plus. You'll likely be still medicating with the antibiotics for another 5-day course (2nd round). When you do move onto the 2nd round... don't skip any days between rounds and don't double the initial doses of round 2... just keep with the regular single doses. To clarify... don't double the "doubled" doses of M/M2 on the first day of round 2... continue with 2x M2 and 1.5x M1 for every dose from here on in. The least stressful way to remove a betta during full (100%) waterchanges is to "cup" them, by dipping a never-seen-soap cup, plastic container or some other suitable holding device with a lid, into the water and let them swim in (don't chase them). Once she's out... place her in a quiet location and begin rinsing out the tank. The whole process should take about 10-15 minutes (her water shouldn't get cold in that short of time). If you're doing a partial... you don't have to isolate her at all.... just go in quietly with a turkey baster and suck out the water - away from where she is. I would think trying to cup her and float her in something would be more stressful for her. Regarding heating the tank for Chloe with her new heater.... hopefully, it's a heater with an actual temperature dial. I'd start off matching the room temperature she is in now and increase it by 1 degree each day till you get to 79-80F. Continuing to keep good thoughts for her! Michele
