Hello,
Late yesterday afternoon when I went to feed my two african dwarf frogs I noticed one had an extremely red front leg. Upon looking closer he had a white mass of what looks like skin coming off of it as well. I also noticed some red spots on his back leg. He was jumping around and acting alright so I didn't believe it was so urgent. I made plans to go the next morning and buy him some Melafix. Through the night he slowed down and this morning he stopped using the front injured leg completely. As soon as the store opened I bought the Melafix, plus some new rocks since I had thought maybe the older, slightly tougher textured rocks would make things worse. Once I got home I quickly pulled the boys out and changed the water/rocks. While my angel was in the holding tank he flipped on his back, I got very scared because he than floated to the top upside down. I hurried and got him and his brother into their tank with the Melafix. He seemed fine for hours but now he keeps flipping on his back every two hours or so. But with one front leg in use he has a very hard time getting back up. Please tell me what has happened. What should I do when he flips? Is there anything I can do to help him?
