I don't have to fill the tank with the alcohol right? How can i get it through the hidden parts of the filter?

You may also want to do a flashlight check for velvet, and consider adding RI+ or Maracide to your treatment. If this is fish TB, then we have to consider that all of the fish in the tank have it/carry it. Some may not show signs of it, or may not do so right away. It's quite variable in course (in that some fish may succumb, sadly, soon after contracting it, while others could live a period of time with it). ~Ash
So, Ash, are you saying that ultimately they are all going to die???? Can I just go ahead and treat my entire tank with Kana now? Also, is it safe for me to come in contact with the water?

Since we dont' know if this is fish TB, we have to keep things in context and remember that there are many things more common than it.
Sadly, TB isn't curable.
Have you isolated the one showing symptoms and started treatment on him? I would recommend that for now.
If fish TB is an issue, then you want to be careful if you have any open wounds or such on your hands -- here's an article about human issues with fish tb.

Never heard of isoprpoyl alcohol cracking an acrylic tank. Was the tank super hot from rinsing with hot water just prior to applying the alcohol? If so, the quick evaporation might have cooled the tank too rapidly - that's the only thing that I can think of. Freakin' terrible though!
