I posted pictured in my last post "I'm worried about my ADF" but I just figured I'd start a new one, unless someone doesn't see this as necessary and wants to delete it, that's fine.
About 5 days ago, my tetra Piggy developed a white spot right above his eye. But over the following four days it grew rapidly covering the top of his head between his eyes. When I first noticed the spot, I ruled out ich because it was too big to be ich and I started treating him with API Fungus Cure. But it didn't help him. When I first saw him yesterday, he was still swimming properly. But when I returned hours later, he was swimming on his side, upside down, whatever way his body turned essentially. My heart broke to pieces because I knew the end was near. This same thing had happened to my other tetra Fiesty. So I sat by his tank and told him how sorry I was not able to help him and that I loved him very much. This morning I found him floating at the top and he is soon going to be buried with his fellow tetra Fiesty.
My background info on this would be that we was exposed to high levels of ammonia. I eventually got them down to 0. I believe he did get ammonia poisoning though and therefore becoming susceptible (sp?) to many things I suppose.
My other tetra Dopey, seems fine except he seems to be... darting... I think the term is. He's swim very fast to different places and will occasionally shake his back fin. Is this parasites? If something is wrong with Dopey, I would like to help him as soon as possible.
