So my FIDS are wondering if I lost my mind Im sure.
Banana as you know, has an issue that we dont know what is, and is being medicated in the 2.5 gallon that normally houses Blueberry. So Blueberry was in the kritter keeper and floating in the 20 gallon with the female bettas. That was a hoot, let me tell you. Angelica was his girlfriend, and spend nearly all the time up beside him nose-to-kritterkeeper. Then little Missy decided she was curious about what was in that thing floating in their tank, and spent some time inspecting it. Angelica didnt like the competition, and would chase Missy away. I didnt want to see any nipping amongst my girls, who normally are all good friends, so Blueberry is now in what used to be Banana's half of the ten gallon. Nothing ruins a beautiful friendship like a MAN!!
But Blueberry has been enjoying the ten gallon and he and Raspberry dont seem to mind each other.
Banana, poor fella, seems to LOOK worse, but he is swimming more. So I dont know what to think. At least he is swimming and eating still, but his spot is darker and more protruding. I think the lack of current in the 2.5 gallon has helped him. We are doing a partial water change today before his evening dose of meds.
My betta girls are PIGS. Seriously, fat little piggies. both the betta girls and the two female guppies. So they are on a diet that started yesterday. It is too easy to over feed them, which we were doing, which started when they were new and I didnt want anyone going without. Now they know to swim out at feeding time, so I dont think it is as big an issue as it was.
Missy, who was my tiny little girl when we got them, has grown!! She is everybit as big as the rest of them. She has at least doubled in size! Her colors are more vibrant than they used to be too. She still has a more lavander color than the others, but they can be hard to tell apart at times. Verdona is more greenish, with redish in her tummy fin. Lucia is a twin to BLueberry, the dark velvet body with the royal blue fins. Missy is more of a pinky lavander, but there are times she is more blue. And Angelica is such a vibrant red now. They are all such beauties!!! Id love to add one or two more, but I hate to upset the balance we have now. They all get allong so nicely!!
I try to get good pics of them, and I have no luck. Ill try and get Eric to take updated pics of them all for me to post!
