Checked the swamp when the first frog died and all parameters were at zero (Tuesday I think)
this morning I checked them again and ammonia was at point 50, all other at zero
I did a 13% water change (2 gallons of 15)
I rechecked the ammonia just a few minutes ago and it is still at point 50.
I am using Amquel (not Amquel plus) so the ammonia is neutralized, correct? (Using Novaqua too)
Should I do another water change?
What would cause the ammonia to go that high that fast?
I was under the assumption that the plants would consume the ammonia. What's up?
All fish/frogs are happy, healthy, active and eating very well.
Tank is 15 gal
heated to 79 (the lights keep the temp up)
Filtered with Aquacleans 200
5 small harliquins (about an inch each) and two dwarf frogs, also about an inch each.
