We have a snail problem in both our tanks
75G has: 1 sailfin plecco (King of the Tank), some guppies, some fire rasbora, 2 ADF, 2 loaches (I forget what kind, they look like zebras) for control, 2 glass cats (I know, we need a few more but the stores are out), got rid of the albino (Chinese) algae eaters, 1 pea puffer.
25-35G has: 2 albino cories, some guppies, (will be replacing my BN plecco), 2 loaches (same kind, similar to a clown loach but no orange)
The loaches are ok but I'm really taken with my SO's pea puffer. He had 3 and they hid. Two died quickly and the remaining one is VERY social. He seems fascinated by us and what goes on outside his tank. He seems as captivated by us and we are by him and he'll happily float in front of us as long as we are near the tank.
Is this normal for pea puffers? Is he a better choice for my smaller tank and tankmates? Or should I stick with the loaches.
Any advice is welcome but I really dig this little dude.
