I think my betta Xia might have some swim bladder probs. I had posted last month about some possable fungus (see "white stuff on fin" posts) and I finished up her 10 days of Kana on 3-5-10 (5days ago). I dont seen any more white spots. I moved the temp back up from 77* to 78* yesterday. She didnt poop as good on first few days of the meds but it cleared up and she has been pooping good again since.
Yesterday late in the afternoon I noticed Xia was kinda floating near the top, kinda leaning to one side. She also looked a bit puffy/full in the area above her ovoposter (sp?) which also seamed more visible. Her scales are flat and she isnt puffy anywere else. I gaver her an extra pellet the day before I noticed this. So I thought maybe she was a bit full or consto so I decided to fast her last night. I noticed later she seamed to be doing better and I also noticed more poop in her tank. So I thought things were back to normal. This AM she also looked good so I feed her but only 1 pellet. This after noon I notice again that when she stops moving she moves to the top. She might have a bit of the "S" shape in her body at times while swimming, cant till when she is still because she is never still when Im close by. Her last water change was sunday eve so 3days ago. Shes active when Im around. She seams normal otherwise.
