Thanks tetra. I figured that out and decided to check here rather than by email this morning.
The pleco is about 1 1/2 inches long. Its a standard pleco, and I just looked at wiki to see what kind more specifically and I couldn't figure it out. When I bought it at the fish store it was just "pleco" on the glass. I have noticed him being agressive with the frogs, and this is the smaller frog.
The ich medicine is Nox-Ich. I've put it in before with no bad results. I put it in *after* the white spot came up. I have used no other products other than AquaPlus and Nox-Ich. I have not rinsed my filter lately, and was just thinking I needed to. I change 10-20% of my water once a week, and this has been fine for the past year. I use a gravel cleaner, and concentrate on cleaning it pretty well.
Last night I pulled out my froggie and quarantined him in a decent sized tupperware with aerated opening at the top to keep him from jumping out but letting air in. This morning, the spot is less white and more an inflamed area over the top of his head. Last night it was white and fuzzy and it almost looked like something was in it. This morning he was in the zen position when I woke up, and is moving around fine although he keeps trying to swim through the side of the tupperware. I'm going to thoroughly rinse off one of my plants and put it in there so he can hide and feel less stressed.
Just went to take a photo of his new state and noticed a severe bloating on the left side and a dark vein on his underbelly. He is also swimming lopsided and ending up upside down on occasion.
