You may want to consider medicating with an antibiotic, as it could get worse quickly. Redness either around or in the middle of a spot, if it appears, suggests bacterial nature.

The other options would be that this is viral (usually lacks redness and looks either waxy or cauliflower-like) or related to fish TB (mycobacterium), neither of which are curable, but viral has a better prognosis/longer lifespan.
