You should NEVER even think about letting a pet go in the wild, if you cant keep them in conditions that they deserve you should find new homes for them or humanly euthanize. You have tads, and you THINK you have infected them with chytrid. I hate to say it, but tads can and do get culled.

I really hope that you have a better plan than to keep these two breeds together and something to ensure these tads well-being in the future. Its just really cruddy that you have to keep them in an arrangement that isnt good for either party and you plan to have them die on you "eventually" anyway.

If i were you i would just keep ACFs in the 55 Gal, and when your older and have your own say so over your (and your pet's) environment keep other species.

Again i will say that i do NOT condone releasing *any* pet into the wild, and im sure that the rest of FnF will agree. I NEVER suggested that you do this.
