We may be looking at a little fish that was born with some sort of birth defeat and too weak to thrive, knowing its current size will help us get an idea if its growth is within the normal range. -Shelly
This male Platy was born in my tank. He's about 2 1/2 months old and is a little more than 1/2 inch long. No recent additions to the tank and no other deformed fish. As most baby fish, he was always somewhat shy among the big ones and hung more about the plant leaves on the bottom, but nothing like he is now. Last night he ate nothing. Is there something I could try beside Bloodworms? If he has a curved spine, should he be euthanised? Like I mentioned, the back 1/4 of his body is crved to the side. So that when he does swim, he tends to go in circles. He is the bright orange Platy with black fins.
