Ammonia: 0
Ammonia tester used (salicylate or Nessler-reagent based?): liquid test api brand
Nitrite:0
Nitrate: 20....but thats how our well water comes out of the tap, I have a few live plants to compensate, but not much else I can do.
Are you testing with dipsticks?: no they are so inacurate
pH:8
KH: dont know
Temperature: 78
Heater: all glass 100w
Aeration: 1 tetra20-40 hob filter and 1 tetra10-20 hob filter....so A LOT of water movement and airation
Water change amount/frequency: a least 1-2 times a week 25-50%...pending on what I have time for
Tank size/how long in operation: 29 gallon, started dec 07
Filtration:1 tetra20-40 hob filter and 1 tetra10-20 hob filter....so A LOT of water movement and airation
Water additives/conditioners/pH adjusters: decholornitor and 1 tsp per 5 gallons aquarium salt
What, how much and how often are the fish/frogs fed: fed once a day varying during the week- flakes, chips, frozen bm, cooked deshelled pea
Tank inhabitants (number, size and type of fish/frogs): 8 platys 2 guppys, few tiny random fry,
New additions/changes to the tank: none

Unusual findings on the fish/frog: white mark-looks exactly like a scuff mark on a shoe, do not look like ulcers and no pus on any fish, no fuzzy material, slightly red gills on a white fish...only one noticable. Will check for velvet when my husband gets home and tells me where he put the flashlight.

Unusual behavior: very rarely darting around...but not really rubbing on plants or anything, more like a panic attack and swimmign into the glass.

Medications/what has been tried or done do far: big water change..unsure of what else to do
