You really meant it when you say "It's a jungle out there!" I have a few questions as a newbie/wannabe planter.

With all those vals tripping over the water's surface, doesn't that limit the amount of lighting for the lower plants considerably or is there enough side surface area to let light through? I take it these plants send runners under the substrate to start new plants given the space between the val child and the parent plants. Does it get to stay? :lol

I see a number of smaller plants, some I recognize as low light needs but I don't know them all. Could you give us a run down on your set up with type of lighting & filtration you use in it and if you use CO2 etc?

Since this is your office tank, what's the timing on lighting for this tank?

Are you planning to trim the vals back? If so where on the plant do you do this?

You've had your Bows for as long as I've known you - are these all original fish? They do look like they're loving it.
