Forgot to ask in my last post....
The link on dropsy suggested keeping the water at 84-86. I need to buy another heater to do this in my QT if that is the temp you recommend. I was wondering why the high temps though, is it to kill off any virus or bacteria if that is the cause? I do have Rid Ich and Maracide and some other meds if I ned them.

CAUSE: Unknown. May be bacterial in origin from Aeromonas or Mycobacterium, viral, water quality problems (e.g. elevated ammonia or nitrites and unstable pH), nutritional deficiencies, abdominal tumors.....

Based on the above causes, I really don't think its water quality b/c even though I was 2 days late with my w/c, I NEVER (knock on wood) have any ammon, Ites, or Ates. The temp, Ph, GH, and KH are always the same except for a brief time when I first moved to IN from VA and the fish had to adjust to the new water but that was this past summer. I do have ammonia in my tap but the cycle takes care of it.
Nutritional deficiencies...not sure about this either because I feed them the same as I always had, mainly Hakari frozen but thawed bws and bs or Hikari microwafers. Never freeze-dried stuff. SHould I be giving them anything else? I feed on alternating days but I can feed daily if you think its better.
I haven't seen her poo today, would constipation make her swollen all over or just the belly region? If it was a tumor, it seems this would have developed more slowly??? So I am guessing she was overfed while I was out or its bacterial/fungal. Just trying to brainstrom here:\
