Epsom may help some, but I suspect more aspiration(s) will be needed, based on the size description from JBOT. Chance was aspirated 4 times. We have had a user on here with a frog named Speckles (I think) that had numerous aspirations because of frequent buildup. In her last check in, she reported Speckles was doing ok and had not had an aspiration in some time.

Remember that bloat is a symptom of an underlying problem. In older frogs like Chance, kidney, heart, or lymph system failure can cause the fluid buildup. Frogs, especially aquatic types, have to expend a lot of energy maintaining an osmotic fluid balance. Infections, stress, and organ failure can really mess up this balance, causing fluid buildup. Although the bloat itself is not a disease per se, it can cause death by the steady pressure buildup on the internal organs. 8o
