I looked at her for awhile and the wound doesn't look like paracidic worms just lifted scales
I'd almost say it was a pimple
I am cleanaing the filter just now as well as the gravel.
There has to be a better way to clean the gravel than syphoning. It wastes so much water.
She seems a little more active today but still hiding. less tilts in her swim.
I was wondering if just treating the tank with salt would be safer for all the fish.
I mainly ask because I noticed one of the summer born Dalmations is very round in a normal pregnant way and i have been reading that salt is touted as the most effective on paracites and diseases. Also increases their body slime. but if a normal treatrment is 1 tblsp per 5 gal when you do a water change- How often do you add it so as not to urt the fish but still be effective?
