If you do get a 10g, then you may have room for a total of two adfs and three tetras. Barb is right, that would be too many for a 6g and 2 tetras will fight. Keep in mind though that adfs need swimming room. Mine uses the whole 10g. I really don't have experience with tetras. You can also keep both the 6g and the 10g (MTS enabling here:transform )

Here is link onbagging fish that I followed when I had to move them. I got my bags free at PetSmart (the ones they use in the fish department). I would put the frogs in one and the tetra in another. I also recommend double bagging just in case (and have a few extra on hand). I had to drive from VA to IN so with your short drive this extra precaution I took may not be needed esp if someone is helping you...I bought some cheap styrofoam containers and cushioned the bottom of them and then placed the bags in them separated by more cushioning. I used an assortment of bubble wrap, newspaper, material (I sew) and then placed the lid on on them and put them in my car in a place that was secure so they wouldn't get too shaky, move around, or fall over. The styrofoam containers helped keep the water temp more constant and with the lid and the "stuffing" created a dark place which helps with the stress. As for the tanks (I think 5-6 total---at that time, lol), I did different things. For my cycled tanks, I left the gravel and decor in them and lowered the water to just above the gravel/decore level. I also put the filter sponge in this so it wouldn't dry out. For my uncylced tanks, I tore them down and cleaned everything and started from scratch because you don't have to worry about losing a cycle. If you keep water and gravel in the tank, it gets very heavy and that can put stress on the tank when you have it in the car, so if you go that route, make sure the tank is level and secured so it doesn't move. In honesty, this belongs in the FW forum because the ER is very busy with only a few experts so its better IMHO to not crowd the ER with non-medical questions (just to consider for the future).

For your other questions/comments...

Is Sam still flipping over at all? Have you tried food other than bloodworms? You can try frozen-thawed brine shrimp. Some of us have used that to help fatten up our skinny frogs. Other than that, I am at a loss. It seems like he is weak and needs some time to recover and build strength. I apologize if I am repeating things (bad memory), how is his shedding and color? Anything look abnormal?

Yes, use fresh carbon in the filter to remove the meds. They will adsorb to the carbon (same concept as the Brita water filters). I think a few hours should do it but I can't remember. Can someone answer that? Also do a partial w/c after you remove the carbon as an added precaution.
