Thanks for the info. I can give some advice on a few things here but not so much on ACF bloat. You should be doing 50% water changes per week. Try to keep the nitrates down to 5-10 ppms. Do you live in a warm climate area? If not does the temperature fluctuate a lot without a heater? If you live in a cold climate you should have a heater - water is best staying around the same temperature as opposed to fluctuating.
Are you getting the night crawlers from a pesticide free and chemical fertilizer free area or purchasing them?
Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be by to help, in the meantime, I would do a really good gravel vac along with a 50% water change to get the nitrates down and keep water as pristine as possible.
