Hi, I did the Lamisil bath treatment in mid February because something was going on and I suspected CF. Not absolutely sure that's what it was but I decided to give it a try anyway. I still have left over Lamisil, if I decide to do this should I go through the entire 10 day treatment?
Probably not the best thing to do but for now I've wiped the fuzz off and I'm keeping an eye on things. The fuzz did not come off as easily as I thought it would, took several swabs and even then it just sort of hung on so maybe you were on to something about the leftover shed - which is why I want to keep an eye on things first. I'd like to cross out what I said about spotting fuzz on his anal area, it looked very odd when I saw it but it must have been a tank illusion, I don't think it was fuzz or anything else.
But yes, the poo I saw come out had a strong yellow hue and was a little halo-ee. This was about 2-3 days ago, and now I'm a little concerned because I haven't found any poo in the tank. Normally I suck out poo everyday, but since the yellow poo I haven't spotted any poo at all. My tank is a small 3 gallon size with a minimal amount of medium size gravel, very easy to search in between and see the tank floor, there's silk plants but they don't obstruct the floor view. Anyway, I think I would have found any hidden poo, and I don't think the frog is eating it at least I've never known him to eat his poo.
Do you know what frog constipation is like? Are there any physical signs to look out for? I haven't been feeding any freeze dried food or pellets, he mainly eats frozen brine shrimp (and not the baby brine) but during the weekly rotation I will feed frozen mysis shrimp, and frozen salmon, but he eats brine the most.
