Shes gone. : ( . . She was still alive this AM. I noticed she had pooped last night so I thought maybe she would still eat. I tried a pellet . Nothing. Later I offered her a tiny bit of bloodworm. When some of it got near her she sorta shook her head and back away an inch or so. I looked away for a while. Noticed her take a big gulp of air then sink! I grabed a glove and rushed over, got her changing bowl hoping to get her in it to keep her close to the serface. I tried for what seamd like a minuet (but was parbably only 30 sec.) to get her in it but she was lifeless. I finaly got her in it and brought it to the serface and floated the bowl. Thought she was dead. Walked away crying. Looked over a min or so later and thought I saw slight movment but that was it. She was gone. Id smapped a 2 photos just min before this all happend to show you the color change. I'll add them below. I had no idea how attached I was to Jasmine! This was 10 times worse then lossing Harley in April! She was always my favorite! So Ive done a lot of crying and im thinking about whats next. Im open to getting another little girl in time. I now have 3 tanks and two heaters that need to be sterlized first. I never did Harleys. So I need instructions on that please. Im also concerned about whaat this was that took Jasmine and maybe Harley too since I still have Chloe and might get another girl. Maybe it was something as simple as bacteria that just went untreated too long of maybe it was the velvet...or flukes ...or Ich. I remember Harley also had finrot and listlessnes and glancing etc. As for Chloe I will post her little problem in a different thread. Im doing the best I can with keeping this all away form her. I will sterlize the sink and counter later today. So I lost my beautiful little girl. I looked last night to see when I got her. It was Aug 24. I had thought it was June or July. Last year was really mixed up for me with my dad having major cancer surgery and 4 hospital stays (one the day after I got Jasmine) and my mom who has dementia being in the hospital once too and having to take care of them both. Maybe thats why Jasmine was so special....she was my little bright spot, my new and young life. She was soooo beautiful! I will miss her a lot. Thanks for allllll your help, advice, patience, and kindness! I really appreicate it! Jasmine at 9:47 am....................................................................................She was actualy vertical but I had the camara at an angle.
