Thanks Michele. I have been in the kitchen with her this AM and she has been by her heater looking like it was the end. Her gills were moving more. I looked over a few times and noticed her back (caudal) fin was a bit unclamped but then would clamp again. Not sure what that was about. So then I took a good look at her with the magnifier. Her skin/slimecoat seams to be pealing off! : ( . . Should I use the novaqua or amquel again? I remember one was for slime coat. Yes Id say she declined after I stopped the QC but Im kinda feeling its more of a coinciedence. I had been decreasing the salt in her tank little by little too (so it wouldnt be a shock to just not have it) and it ended around the same timeat I ended the QC so maybe that was it? Should I add a bit more salt? I dont see any swelling or raised scales but I will check again. She is actualy very thin looking. Im kinda wondering if she has some internal bleeding cuz her chest area seams a tiny bit darker but I think it was that way when the last photos were taken. Im trying not to think negetive but are these just signs of the end? Is it just my bad luck or are there a lot of "mystery illnesses" with bettas? First Harley one in March and now Jazzy. : ( . .
