Don't worry, I understand why you thought to thaw them out and maybe they would keep. It seems logical but as the others have mentioned you can't really even keep them a few hours after. I break (or cut if you are careful) a chunk to use then put the rest right back in the freezer to stay frozen.

BTW, try not to touch them too much and wash your hands well after using them just because you don't want to touch your food surfaces or mouth with hands that have some remaining bloodworm juice.
