Hey Kaysea,

You are correct that you use Prime OR NovAqua (not both together)... Prime does what NovAqua and AmQuel do together, only there appears to be no interaction between meds and the conditioner.

I don't remember when you did your last 100% waterchange... but if she's in a 2 - 2.5 gallon now... you may want to consider full waterchanges 1-2x a week, with daily partials inbetween.

I'm sorry she is still glancing... I'll post a note to Dr. Barb and Ash to pop in to comment on whether this flashing is worriesome or not. My thinking is that b/c the meds were delayed... the velvet infestation was that much more.

Keeping the water pristine and the use of the antibiotics should keep any infection from entering her body through the wounds she's got from the flashing. You're using the QC at half the dose, daily, correct?

As for moving her around... I think keeping her tank darkened is sufficient. I'd resist the temptation of moving her around too much as that causes stress. At the next full waterchange, maybe you can do the location switch to a place where it is quieter for her. But keeping a towel wrapped around her tank and the lights off should help to make her feel more secure and less stressed. It's good that you removed any sharp objects where she can further injure herself in the meantime.

I'm hoping she starts responding to the meds soon! Is she still swimming around at all, or is she pretty still (at the bottom or top)? She ate this morning, correct? (Info Dr. Barb or Ash would like to know...)
