Good morning T: I dont know if Jasmine is still alive or not....its too dark yet to tell and I dont want to shine a light on her. Last night she looked close to the end. : ( . . Yesterday I did the 25% w/c. Added the new meds (added the QC to the new water and mixed it real good before I bailed it into her tank. She ddint seam to stressed, just stayed right by her heater (maybe too far gone to know what was going on?). Took me forever to figure out how to do a partial change and do it. 100% changes are MUCH easier! I have no idea what they treat our water with. So if I get Prime I ca use it with Mal. Green and it wont interfear and it will also condition the water? If I do that should I stop the Nova Aqua while using the Prime? (Im probably asking this for future refrance since Jasmine seams so far gone.) The fizz tabs are Jungle conditioner and thats why I decided not to use them cuz I had no idea what they were made of. They came with one of my tanks and had no ingredients. Were we are now? Close to the end (if we arent already there). She didnt look good last night. Her body looked a bit purpleish behind her gill. Miracles happen so I will keep doing what I can. If she is still alive today what do I do? She looks terrable! Its so hard to see her like this! Just 2 weeks ago she was so full of life and soooo beautiful! I feel so horrable about not going with my intuition and giving her the M1 & M2 right from the start 2 weeks ago for her finrot. Instead I listened to the same people who kept telling me to wait to medicate Harley till it was too late. You'd think Id have leraned my lession. Its hard to know what to do, who to listen to. But we knew she had finrot and M 1&2 treat that! And if I had her in good water and she still got finrot wouldnt that say the "w/c, salt, higher temps" method wasnt enough to get her well?! Before I found fourms to post at I just followed the info sheet with Maracyn and my fish got better. I dont know if one should wait to medicate. The info sheet says to treat right away. Maybe with Jazzy I ddint know all of what she had but I did know she had finrot and I could have started treetment for that. I really think the Maricide was a good choice, Jazzy just had a bad reaction....maybe cuz her gill area was just really sensitive and it hurt her or maybe she hurt herself badly in one of her scratching fits, she really flung herself around and hit things hard. sigh : ( . . I will post in a little bit when I find out if she is still alive. If she is I will need advice on what to do next. Even if its just how to make her comfortable until she goes. Thank you for all your help!!! I REALLY appreciate it!
