(Sorry I didn't reply sooner... I'm at work.) Kaysea... you can do a 100% waterchange now and add all the meds together (M/M2 and QC) and continue dosing every 24 hrs from now. Do your waterchanges (partials and full ones) right before the next dose is due as the meds have a life of about 24hrs once they hit the water. If the time becomes inconvenient as the days go by... do a 100% waterchange and re-add the meds.

Formalin and formaldehyde are the same as I understand.

Are the ammonia levels staying in check? As well, is there any ammonia present in your tap water?... it's good to check that. Assuming there is no ammonia present, the redness if likely from septicemia... hopefully the M/M2 combo will treat that if it isn't too late. Or the redness could be further irritation from the velvet.
