Hey Kaysea,

If she's doing so poorly... I'd do a combination of Maracyn/Maracyn 2 (together... this makes a broad spectrum antibiotic... they are safe to do together. If you only have the M2... start it anyway... and add the plain Maracyn as soon as you get it. The red streaking may indicate an internal infection (septicemia).

I'm still concerned that we're not treating for velvet/external parasites, and that the longer we wait... the less likely she can recover from it. Keeping in mind that she "may" have had an adverse reaction (although typically rare)... you could try another med such as the RidIch+ (again, our experiences with it are favourable) or Quick Cure at half the dose.

I'm sorry, Kaysea... it is very difficult seeing them in such a state. I hope she responds to the meds!!

Good luck and keep us informed...

Michele
