As a "new" person to the world of bunnies,
I really like them. They are pretty easy to take care of and show affection
just like cats (licking you, etc...)

The biggest thing is to bunny-proof the house where they roam.
(cover electrical cords, make cardboard barriers, etc...)
The get little trained easily, but the poops miss the mark often.
It's ok because 90% of the time they are hard and do not smell at all. I dustbuster them up.
Cecotropes (like a wet poop shaped like a blackberry) are friggin gross, but they only happen ocassionally
and he usually eats them . Double gross.

Then as long as you give them lots of hay, attention, a few treats, and a few well placed litter boxes
they will be very happy.
We only lock him up if we leave the house or when we go to bed.
He's a very good boy. (except when he want to claim the almightly couch as his own by peeing on it,
he's not allowed up anymore.)

Very similar to having a cat, except instead of clawing things, they chew on things.
Oh, and binkies are so funny (bunny spaz jumping and running)
