Thank you so much for your reply!!!!

Opps! Sorry I forgot to tell about her food. Hikari Betta Bio Gold, presoaked in treated water, 2 in AM & 2 in PM. She always gobbles them right up. I use a baster to remove poops from my tanks when I feed them or at least once a day. The other thing with Jasmine is she is not a real regular pooper. She was regular for the first months I had her then she had a fungus on her fin and I used med and since then its been anywhere from everyday to 3rd or 4th day with two times this year 5th day! A few times I did the pea thing then fast a meal. But it usualy resloved on its own. I dont recall the SBD acted up during those times, that was mostly when she was younger. I notice 11 days before this latest SBD she started pooping everyday and with only 2 exceptions since. Which has kinda puzzled me because Im seeing poops that arent that much smaller. I cant tell for sure if she is thinner or not. OH!! I forgot to mention I just added a heater for the first time Thru. (5-21-09). After this, thats when I noticed some improvment in color and activity and fin clamping but its not gotten any better since then and the gill looked worse. She is hiding more in places she usualy never goes. About the Velvet, I have wondered about that. Im not sure what it looks like in the mild form. I looked at her last night with the magnifyer and maybe something like that but today it looked no worse and she has a lot of iridescence so that might be what im seeing. I have Maracide on hand also Coppersafe. I could try one more time to get better photos but the camara stresses her. I'll see how she reacts to it, im not going to push her too much now unless you feel it could really help. I think the pics wouldnt be much better then the ones I posted. The "Tumor" thing is actualy under the gill cover. I will look again in better day light and see if I can see it better. I might be just swolen tissue. With her rubbing from possable Velvet that could have caused this right? Since it wasnt there at first.

Yes, I believe Harley, my male who died, had finrot for some tim before the major symptoms....I wasnt sure tho. Usualy it was very noticble but this time it was just a little dark around the edges like Jasmine has now. It never got worse and I never saw new fin re-growth. The betta site I usualy post at discoourages meds in early stages and recomend just more salt, water changes and warmer temps at first. After he died I regreted not treating him sooner (I used Maracide and Maracyn 2 I )said I wouldnt do it again so this time I posted about Jasmine as soon as symptoms showed up and was told over and over she looked fine or there was nothing wrong with her. Thats when I started looking for better info because Jasmine is very dear to me and want to save her. Im not giving up on her! Hope all this info helps. Again thanks for your time and reply! Really appreciate it! If you have anymore questions just ask!
