Hello,
My name is Mike. Former lurker, first time poster.
Today, one of my familys African Dwarf Frogs, "Darth Vader" (named by my 4 year old son) began laying on her back. When I got closer to see what was going on I saw what looks like red and white blotches. They look terrible! I need help determining what the illness is so that I can take swift action. I took some pictures (linked below) that I'm hoping will assist in a quick and accurate diagnosis. Any educated opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Note: I have Lamisil, Pedialyte, and Maracyn II on hand.

Tank info:
Ammonia: 0
Ammonia tester used (salicylate or Nessler-reagent based?): I use the ammonia test from API's master freshwater kit.
Nitrite: (misplaced test, continuing to look for it)
Nitrate: 5
Are you testing with dipsticks?: No, API FW master kit.
pH: 7.6
KH: 8 degrees
Temperature: 78.5
Heater: 75 watt Stealth submersible heater
Aeration: Via filter noted below.
Water change amount/frequency: Approximately 1/4 of the tank every 7-10 days.
Tank size/how long in operation: 29 gallons / Almost a year until I nuked it a couple of weeks ago. Got it to cycle quickly with the help of a sponge filter from my established Red Cherry Shrimp tank.
Filtration: Marineland Emperor 280 with floss.
Water additives/conditioners/pH adjusters: I use filtered RO water due to untrustworthy tap water. I increase the hardness w/ Seachem Equalibrium and add Seachem Alkaline Buffer and a very small amount of Acid Buffer. Once in a while I'll put in a cap full of Seachem Flourish.
What, how much and how often are the fish/frogs fed: Every other day. I divy up a small cube of frozen bloodworms between the two frogs in my 29g, a frog in my 10g hospital tank, and 5 peppered Corys in another tank. I use a turkey baster to pick up the left overs before turning the filter back on in the 29g.
Tank inhabitants (number, size and type of fish/frogs): 2 African Dwarf Frogs, average size.
New additions/changes to the tank: Quickrete play sand (got rid of the white Petco gravel when I nuked the tank).
I had bought 6 small Anubias Nanas that I placed in the tank on some driftwood but shortly thereafter removed them after seeing a few snails. I had a small
piece of driftwood with 2 previous ANs, I'm assuming the snails may have came from them since I did a water w/bleach bath with the new plants (I carefully
rinsed the plants with water and plenty of tap water conditioner).
Unusual findings on the fish/frog: Red and white blotches.
Unusual behavior: In the past couple of days my frogs appetite has decreased.
Medications/what has been tried or done do far: Nothing yet.
Summary of potential fish/frog stressors: Nothing that I can think of off hand.
