African Clawed Frogs

ACF with large goldfish

I am interested in hearing about people's experiences keeping large goldfish with ACFs. I'm not interested in secondhand accounts or tales of what could happen, but real experiences. I'm looking at a 30 gallon tank with two young ACFs and 1 medium sized goldfish, so they'll grow together with the fish always larger than the frogs.

I currently have a 29 gallon tank with an ACF and a jewel chiclid. I don't see him come out of hiding much, about once in the last two weeks. I worry that he dosent get enough food, I've begun to think I should move the jewel back with the rest of the ciclids in my other tank, and just let the frog have the whole tank to himself. My water levels are good, 0, 0, .5 .

ACF with bloat

Hello i caught the ealry stage of bloat on my ACF the other day, the next day went the pet store and i bought new rocks for the bottom and the NovAqua + AmQuel combo gave his tank a thorough cleaning. Due to the fact my frog Gunther has been trying to eat my fish i ended up getting a separate tank for him. Now I just wanted to know what kind've critters I can put in with him?? Also I need advice on food for him. I bought little froggy pellets but he doesnt like them and usually spits them out, I even tryed the floating reptile sticks and he didnt eat them either =\. Urgent help frog ate my bala shark!!!

Ok I come home from work the other day and discover my bala shark is gone! Turns out the frog ate it and mind you my frog is still not an adult size and hes really bloated now. Last night he seemed to be fine and I figured he was just resting and digesting it but now he cant seem to stay on the bottom and keeps floating to the top. I really dont know what to do and Id hate to see it suffer =\. I really need some advice.

ACF with Round Raised Bumps

My 3 1/5 yr old female acf has reccently got two raised bumps one circular one just off from circular, they are hardly raised, resembling a human yeast spotting with no discoloration. she is showing no signs of being ill otherwise. we just moved and so the water was reccently fully chaanged and i do keep filtered. anyone have a clue.. how much should i worry.. is there treatment..help

Temperature too high in tank?

Hi guys, I have a really nice heater with a built-in thermostat and everything. Really tops. But I never use it because I every time I check the temperature in my ACF's tank it is a constant 74 degrees. I would really like it to be around 70 degrees, but I have never sen a tank COOLER. I am not sure what to do. Have thought of throwing ice cubes in every day, but that would mess up the chemical makeup of the water, not to mention the trouble. Have you guys ever run into this? I haven't posted here in forever...
But I've got about 10 (hard to count all the lil fellers, they're practically clear and keep swimming around in the baby tad tank) tadpoles.
I've managed to find a home for about half of them and have been telling people 'It'll be about a month till they're ready for a new home.'

However, truth be told, I honestly don't know. How quickly do these lil guys get their legs/tail absorption?
