Oh... my dear, sweet little Charlie...

You were such a BIG betta in a tiny package.
You came home with me because I just couldn't leave you behind.
You transformed from a sickly, ghostly coloured betta to a beautiful butterfly.
Despite my best efforts to keep you happy and healthy, there were other plans for you.
I sure wish you were with me a lot longer than you were but I hope you were happy and felt like you had a great life, albeit shortened.

She was the strongest and largest frog I've ever had, with an appetite to match.
She would get herself into trouble by eating way too much, then would get sick
from eating snails or other bad stuff. She had been put on M2 countless times,
and had been aspirated at least 50+ times over the years.

She was still battling bloat, and we were aspirating her like usual.
The only difference must have been her body just finally gave out.

Goodness this hurts! I cannot believe you are not with me anymore. You've been part of my family for nearly 2 years. I cannot imagine walking by the shelf you used to occupy and not wiggle my finger at you in your tank... you would always swim right up to me, as if to say, "Hi mom... got any food?"

This morning I came downstairs to my Horton had went to the rainbow bridge sometime during the night. Horton was my first fish, and I learned a lot in small amount of time I had him. I hope I can take care of his brother Obidiah better because of him.

Well, Puff finally went three weeks ago in the night. He was a feisty swimmer who loved to pig out every night on live blackworms, sometimes eating a dozen or more at one meal! He and Dumplin (my ADF) would have staring matches, it was so cool!

Swim to that great worm cup, Puff, I'll miss you.

Blue, my other Betta, went a week later in the same way. Blue was a fast swimmer as well as a thrasher. He loved to flare at his tankmates, two albino corys. Fortunately for them...

i had some really cute dwarf sunset platies. they were a pair, so i was hoping for little babies. after 3 weeks, they both decided to soar out of the tank within an hour of each other. i went in my room to find 2 shriveled up mini fish on the ground. it was especially sad because my beloved little puffer died that morning.

Blaze died today

My 4th acquired male betta Blaze died today. I came home and noticed he was on the bottom of his tank. He gave one last flip of his fins and took a last breath when he saw me and that was it. Had a fishy funeral for him. I am okay with it all. Just wanted to share.

Tiny was doing so well in the HT. He was eating with such gusto and started to act so "normal." He was even hunting for his food, which was so reassuring. He had stopped floating and was just wondering when he could go back to his big tank. Last night, Tiny did not eat. I think he was on his way to the big pond. He just kinda looked at me.
