I went to this amazing pet store in Lancaster. It was overwhelmingly huge. The fish selection was absolutely amazing. Never in my life have I seen so many different kinds of plecos! They had clown, zebra, royal, trinidad, medusa, bristlenose, rubbernose, bushynose, pitbull, and a few others that I can't remember. I started another tropical community tank and wanted to add a small variety of pleco. I already have 2 albino BNs in my other tropical community tank so I wanted something...

How much should I feed my corys?

Hello Catfish people - I have some little cories that I just LOVE - they actually make me laugh right out loud sometimes.
I have 3 albino and 2 pandas.
How much should I be feeding them and how often? (They are in a tank with some betta but the betta eat all their own food so the cories don't get many 'leftovers')

Right now I have 'Nutrafin max sinking tablets'

While I was home this weekend I checked out a local LFS that I almost always forget is there and its a shame that I do. They really are the best fish place I have ever seen. I didn't see a single dead fish. The only sick fish I saw was a group of cichlids that they were quarantining and treating for a customer! After losing the chocolate BN from a not so amazing fish store, I thought I'd look around a bit to see if this place had any. I asked one of the employees if they had any...

I was at my favorite LFS today and was checking to see if they had any BN's. I'm thinking about checking to see if they will take the common I bought a couple of weeks ago back. I feel bad doing it, but he really is going to get way too huge and I'm not sure I an handle him plus my comets down the road. I figure if I part ways with him now, it'll be easier than when he gets too big for me and I'm really attached to him. So I'm thinking a BN will be much more...

I saw them for the first time this past week when shopping for my sister's new fish. She ended up getting a trio of them to help "clean" the tank plus I gave her a baggy of super tiny algae wafers. I am so jealous of her for getting them, lol... So adorable I could watch them for hours. Until recently, I've only had bettas and now I'm expanding my fish keeping. I've got a planted community tank with 4 sterbai cories, 3 panda cories, 5 cherry barbs and a betta and yesterday and this morning the sterbai cories spawned.

I'm not into breeding fish and I'd never seen them do this before. First I was concerned because they were swimming all over the tank and sort of vibrating together in clumps of three, two of the thinner ones (the males I assume) chasing after the plumpest one. Then I realised they might be spawning and started...

Hi folks... while i'm still feedng my L200 babies..i finely found a little youngster of my L204!!! after three years of patience...and doing nothing special i found a little 14mm small striped baby just before... i'm so happy :thumbsup: here we go ...the last on in the cave...(it's a self made one )...i will check tonight how many babies wi'll find...

Hi there i have got 2 beautiful bubble eye gold fish and i would like to know if anyone knows how to tell the difference in sex's???? one in larger than the other by quite a bit and they follow each other round the tank all the time they are never apart :-)

Awhile back I posted in a panic that my Rio Ucayali had broken his tail....well, it seems to have healed up just fine with no problems, although there is still a slight curve to it that I can see when he's stuck on the glass.

I was never able to find out if this occurs frequently, or what the implications would be.

He seems to be feeling just fine - no more sulking and he's eating like a horse!

I have a surprise I just happened to find these guys in my LFS. I'm growing out the three and 2 will go to my sister one will stay with me. I put Goldie back in the big tank, she eats JUST FINE so these three are in the cycled 10G with Kandor. THey are tiny. but eating and pooing!!!!

So, I am planning on getting a bristlenose pleco, but am waiting for our local pet store to get one in. Anyway, I did see that one of the local pet stores carries clown plecos and thought I recalled that they are a smaller pleco, so came home and looked them up and it looks like that is correct. However, I also saw in the info that they are hard on plants? Is this true? Just curious...I had thought about getting one instead, though I like the bristlenose plecos, but I have plants in my tanks...

They need a good feeding up, as algae eaters are ALWAYS too skinny when you get them from pet stores, but these are my new little guys. I'm going to keep them in the betta spawning tank for algae control, once they are done with quarantine. Magical Ottos

One of my ottos is magical, lol... I have two divided betta tanks. In one of my tanks I have two ottos on one side (with Wolfgang, my betta) to help with algae problems. The ottos are doing fabulously and love their new home.

Well, this morning I woke up to find the smaller otto on the opposite side of the tank (on Cupid's side)!!!!! I know how it got over there. It swam threw the small holes we drilled in the plexi glass for water circulation and managed to get around the black...

so I'm sitting at the coffee shop in my neighborhood and they have these most beaautiful catfish in the fish tank there. I've never noticed them before, but I saw them tonight and the owner has no clue what they are, so I thought I would try my hand here. They stand about 2 inches long, an even chalk grey all the way down the body with medium (compared to body size) black circles covering the entire body and the most perfect white lines edging all of the fins and a set of white...

And just got my baby Gold Nugget Pleco.... wish me luck, he's a cutie and has the title of "Most Expensive I've ever gotten so please don't die on me" fish. I rarely have casualties but you know how Murphy's law goes. I'll get a couple pics in a few min.
