			<description><![CDATA[ Do I have a problem w/ my water?  I&#39;m just starting out w/ a Betta.  He&#39;s currently in a 1/2 gallon Betta kit, but will be moved to a larger tank soon.
 I&#39;m trying to make his time left in this tiny bowl as comfortable as possible.  I was using Poland Springs bottled spring water.  I had the bottled water
tested at PetSmart, but was told to use tap water w/ a conditioner.  So I bought a water testing kit, changed the water, conditioned it and here are the

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a Betta in a 1.5 gal tank. I have always had a filter on it since that&#39;s what I was told to do if you didn&#39;t leave him in a little bowl. So now
do I take the filter out? Meaning I would have to change 100% water each week? Or keep the filter in, and try to get it cycled. Which I am in the process of
trying to do on a 10 gal since I never knew before the 10 gal what cycling a tank even was. ]]></description>

over that you need to change the water in that size tank (in uncycled tanks) at least every week. I do it about every 4-5 days. My boyfriend got his fish from
a small non chain pet store and the owner told him she only changes her bettas bowl (looks to me like its less then one gal) every 4-6 weeks!!!! She has told
